We greatly appreciate any feedback, ideas or suggestions you may have relating to your experiences of antenatal, labour and postnatal care. (It would be helpful if you could also include dates and where the care was received.) If you’d like to give feedback in confidence, please anonymise your feedback and we won’t share your contact information.
We are also on Facebook – feel free to leave a comment, we’d love to hear from you!
If you can help us to spread the word about the MSLC by distributing our leaflets or displaying our poster, please let us know – we’d be delighted to send you some!
If you would like to know more about joining the committee as a User Representative, do feel free to get in touch. Our upcoming meeting dates can be found here.
Please note that the MSLC isn’t able to address complaints. Our aim is to use feedback to improve services. If you would like to make a formal complaint about an aspect of your care please contact PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service) or speak to your midwife, obstetrician, GP or health visitor.
If you are currently experiencing problems with your care you can contact a Supervisor of Midwives via the hospital switchboard. Call 01223 245151 and ask to speak to the ‘on call Supervisor of Midwives’. They are a team of experienced midwives with extra training to enable them to give independent support and guidance to women and their families regarding their maternity care. The service is available 24/7.
You can also discuss your birth experience, in confidence, with a qualified midwife counsellor. Please contact the Rosie’s Birth Afterthoughts Service on 01223 217882 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
